In reality, how we each show up is shaped by our individual experiences, beliefs, and subconscious programming.
Despite best efforts, teams often fall back into familiar patterns in both in-office and remote environments: miscommunication, defensiveness, burnout, or disengagement. What’s intended as openness might be received as criticism.

What I realized was this—if we don’t address the subconscious drivers behind our behaviour, we’re just treating surface-level symptoms. Teams were unconsciously running on outdated personal narratives: beliefs about worth, safety, success, and belonging. And without the tools to recognize and shift those patterns, they stayed stuck in the same loops—high-functioning on the outside but running on the corporate hamster wheel underneath.
That’s why conscious cultures go deeper. They don’t just train people what to do—they help them understand who they’re being. They create space for reflection, rewiring, and real emotional growth.
